Over the idle week, the Ohio State Buckeyes moved up three spots to No. 8 in the AP Poll. While the ranking got better, the odds for the national title stayed the same. Entering Monday afternoon, Bovada listed the Bucks at 12-to-1 odds of winning the College Football Playoff— the same as last Monday. Those odds are tied with Michigan for fourth best in the country. If there was some good news from the odds, the three teams in front of the Scarlet and Gray also didn’t see their chances change. Alabama still leads the way at 1-to-2, with Clemson behind them at 5-to-1. In a not-too-distant third is Notre Dame, who sits at 13-to-2. Even though Georgia beat Florida, their odds took a slight dip, moving from 14-to-1 to 16-to-1.
