Following Ohio State’s stunning loss at Purdue on Oct. 20, many pundits began speculating that this would be coach Urban Meyer’s final season at the school. The Buckeyes’ disappointing performance only exacerbated the issues swirling around Meyer all season — the investigation into whether he knew of a former assistant’s alleged abuse of his ex-wife, and chronic headaches that have visibly pained Meyer on the sidelines.
