Dobbins has been a bit under the radar this season for Ohio State, largely because Heisman Trophy candidate Dwyane Haskins has controlled the Buckeyes’ offense. But against Nebraska on Saturday, Dobbins saved the game — and possibly the season — for Ohio State with a season-high 163 yards and three touchdowns on 23 carries. The Buckeyes survived a surprising upset attempt from the Cornhuskers — who are now 2-7 in Scott Frost’s first year as head coach — and won, 36-31. But they were in real trouble for a while, trailing at halftime, 21-16, and well into the third quarter until Dobbins stole back the lead, which Ohio State would never relinquish.
