COLUMBUS, Ohio — In the fifth year of the College Football Playoff, we should know this about the playoff committee members by now. They can’t tell you what makes a playoff team, but they know one when they see it. That’s why Ohio State must try to look like a playoff team, even while sticking at No. 10 in the rankings for the third straight week. And the committee doesn’t really think they’re looking like one. Nothing changed in the top 10 Tuesday, so 9-1 Ohio State remained behind undefeated Alabama, Clemson and Notre Dame, one-loss teams Michigan, Georgia and Oklahoma, two-loss LSU and one-loss Washington State and West Virginia.
