Maryland failed on a potential game-winning two-point conversion in overtime. The teams combined for 35 points in the fourth quarter alone. With the win, No. 8 Ohio State keeps its College Football Playoff chances alive. A loss would have pushed the Buckeyes (10-1, 7-1) further out of Big Ten title contention ahead of next week’s showdown with No. 4 Michigan. Haskins finished with 405 yards on 28-of-38 passing with three touchdowns and an interception. He also rushed for three touchdowns. He came into the game with one rushing touchdown for the season.
