COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State quarterback Dwayne Haskins, already the school record holder for passing yards and TD passes in a single season, is likely to finish the year with more than 4,000 yards passing and several school records. Haskins has 3,685 yards through 11 games. He is on pace to top 4,000 yards this week. Before this season, only three quarterbacks in the history of Ohio State football topped 3,000 yards – Joe Germaine with 3,330 yards in 1998, Bobby Hoying with 3,269 yards in 1995 and J.T. Barret with 3,053 yards last season. Nationally, Haskins is first for touchdown passes, third for passing yards and fifth for passing efficiency.
