There’s a reason the Michigan-Ohio State game is one of the biggest rivalries in college football and Saturday’s matchup certainly lived up to the hype as the No. 10 Buckeyes topped the No. 4 Wolverines 62-39. It’s a rivalry game that has been played 114 times since 1897 with the two teams playing at the end of the regular season nearly every year since 1935 (with the exception of 1942, 1986 and 1998), though Ohio State has never scored more than 50 points against Michigan until Saturday. For the first time in 51 games between Michigan and Ohio State, the Wolverines were favored to take home the victory.
