Notre Dame doesn’t have a title to play for, so as a 12-0 independent team ranked No. 3 in the latest CFP rankings, the Fighting Irish are in. Playing Georgia in the SEC championship game, Alabama is also in if it remains undefeated, and it still has a 43 percent chance of getting in if the Bulldogs pull off the upset, according to ESPN’s Playoff Predictor. And Clemson is a 27.5-point favorite over Pitt right now in the ACC championship game. That, presumably, just leaves the fourth and final spot up for grabs.
