Ohio State wins Big Ten title, which probably won’t be enough, so then what for the Buckeyes? Doug Lesmerises

COLUMBUS, Ohio — I was talking with someone at Ohio State this week as the Buckeyes basked in their 23-point victory over Michigan and prepared for the Big Ten Championship Game against Northwestern. Ohio State had just done everything it could do against its rival, a win well-planned by the coaches and well-executed by the players. In the days after destroying the former No. 4 team in the nation, everyone was satisfied. So this Buckeye staffer expressed a little frustration about why the rest of the season hadn’t been enough for some outsiders. Wins are difficult, was his point. No one should take any of them for granted, no matter how close they are. The Buckeyes are 12-1 now, and were 11-1 then.
