Big Michigan recruiting loss positive for Buckeyes, OSU moves up

In April even though he had never visited Ohio State, Tulsa (Okla.) Booker T. Washington safety Daxton Hill included the Buckeyes among his list of finalists. Hill announced that he was moving forward with six schools Ohio State, Oklahoma, Clemson, Alabama, Oklahoma State and Michigan. Then a little over four months later Hill announced a commitment to Michigan in mid-September. Hill posted the commitment to the Wolverines on his Twitter account. However, that commitment to Michigan hasn’t lasted. Hill posted on Saturday night that he has flipped his commitment from the Wolverines to Alabama. He posted the decision on his Twitter account. The 6-foot-1 and 190-pound Hill has scholarship offers from his final six as well as many, many others.
