Ohio State backup QB makes Heisman case for ignored finalist Dwayne Haskins

In the last few weeks, Oklahoma quarterback Kyler Murray surged into the conversation with serious potential to win. But what about Dwayne Haskins, Ohio State’s quarterback who’s also a Heisman finalist this year? He’s often left out of the conversation in what seems like a two-man race between Tagovailoa and Murray. That’s not sitting right with the Buckeyes’ backup quarterback, Tate Martell, and he responded to an NBC Sports Heisman graphic excluding Haskins as “disrespectful”. Haskins leads the nation with 4,580 passing yards and with 47 passing touchdowns, while maintaining a 70.2 completion percentage.
