On Monday it was announced that former Ohio State forward Micah Potter would be continuing his career in the Big Ten Conference as a member of the Wisconsin Badgers’ basketball program. Potter announced that he would be leaving the Buckeye program just days before they opened the 2018-19 season, meaning that he will be eligible to play next fall for the Badgers. The 6-foot-9 forward played in 59 games during his Ohio State career, and averaged 4.1 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. He began both of his seasons in Columbus as a starter, but was eventually replaced in the lineup by Trevor Thompson and Kaleb Wesson. Potter will be a junior when he begins his career in Madison, and will have two years of eligibility remaining to play with for Greg Gard’s team.
