Oftentimes in life, change is perceived as a bad thing. Something a person would rather avoid. In sports, change tends to come with upheaval and usually is needed because of something negative, be that too much losing, a scandal or something of the like. When Ohio State announced last week that Urban Meyer was retiring from college football and Ryan Day would take his place as head coach, it meant there would be change, but it was not because of issues within the football program.
