Ohio State has been playing football for 129 years and the Buckeyes have been successful through the majority of those. So much so that earlier this season, the Scarlet and Gray became just the second team in college football history to win 900 games, trailing only rivals Michigan in that department. How do the Buckeyes sustain the success? Coaching certainly plays a part but the major factor is players. Ohio State has always recruited well, developed players — there’s where a large part of the coaching comes in — and spit them back out the other side. The other side is what we’re focused on here.
