Urban Meyer’s reign is coming to an end. The Ohio State coach announced his retirement last week with his last game coming up in the Rose Bowl against Washington. It will close a highly-successful run in which Meyer has racked up a record of 85-9 with the Buckeyes, including three Big Ten titles and a national championship. The dominance on the field was a product of Ohio State recruiting at an elite level. Meyer is on his way out and offensive coordinator Ryan Day was named his successor.
