Starting the game proved to be no issue for OSU as the Buckeyes led the Bison by as many as 12 points in the first half. But sustaining that lead became a real problem. Bucknell went on a 15-0 run to grab the lead and forced Ohio State to rally from an eight-point second-half deficit. In the end, the 15th-ranked Buckeyes held off the upset-minded Bison for a 73-71 win at Value City Arena.
