Count on Ohio State’s Ryan Day to answer QB questions with best pitch possible

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State coach Ryan Day had a busy day on Wednesday. He maintained a talent-rich 2019 recruiting class, landed the top in-state player in defensive end Zach Harrison and helped ease concerns about the transition from soon-to-be retired Buckeyes coach Urban Meyer as part of college football’s early signing period. At Ohio State’s signing day news conference, however, Day took more questions about the quarterback position than anything else. So it goes with football’s all-important position.
