LEWIS CENTER, Ohio — Five-star defensive end Zach Harrison of Olentangy Orange High School hosted a private ceremony today at 12:30 at his school and announced his commitment to Ohio State. Harrison, 6-foot-5 1/2 and 243 pounds, chose the Buckeyes over Michigan and Penn State. The nation’s No. 4-rated overall player by 247sports.com, he is the highest-rated player in the Buckeyes’ 2019 recruiting class. A track athlete as well, he has run the 100 meters as fast at 10.82 seconds. Harrison is the third five-star recruit in OSU’s 2019 class, joining receiver Garrett Wilson of Lake Travis, Texas (the alma mater of Browns quarterback Baker Mayfield); and center Harry Miller of Buford, Ga.
