Tis the season to be jolly. It’s also an important time of year in the college football season. While most of the world sit down to celebrate Christmas today, Ohio State — whose players and coaches do get the holiday off — prepare for the Rose Bowl game on Jan. 1. The Buckeye program is in a good place. The Scarlet and Gray are consistently ranked in the top 10 in the country and once again will play in a New Year’s Six bowl game. Ohio State’s coaching class is a who’s who of top coaches and, even with Urban Meyer retiring — something he announced in early December — the Buckeyes are in good hands with Ryan Day taking over and keeping the continuity of the program intact.
