The 105th Rose Bowl game will not only serve as the first postseason match up between the No. 6 Ohio State Buckeyes (12-1) and the Washington Huskies (10-3), but it will be the 15th appearance for both programs in the Rose Bowl. The Buckeyes enter the game 7-7 all time while the Huskies’ hold a 7-6-1 in Rose Bowl games. After the Buckeyes won the Big Ten Championship, following a win over Northwestern, coach Urban Meyer announced that he planned to retire from coaching.
