Look: Buckeyes take part in Lowry's Beef Bowl

LOS ANGELES – The Rose Bowl is the country’s most famous bowl game. It’s one of the oldest bowl games, takes place in Los Angeles, the city of stars and is rich with tradition. While the game and the Rose Bowl Parade are among the most famous of those traditions, one of the most well-liked by everyone involved is the Lawry’s Beef Bowl. Held at Lawry’s Prime Rim in Beverly Hills, the tradition is a simple one. The two teams playing in the Rose Bowl stop by for dinner, shutting down the restaurant. There is plenty of pomp and circumstance involved but essentially the teams attempt to eat more prime rib collectively than their opponent.
