When Nick Bosa left in the third quarter of Ohio State third game of the year against TCU with an injury, Buckeye fans feared the worst. Those fears were confirmed when it was announced Bosa had suffered a core muscle injury and would miss an extended period time. Bosa and his family eventually made the decision to withdraw from school and focus on his recovery and preparing for the NFL. Many of Bosa’s teammates thought the next time they’d see the defensive end would be at the NFL Draft in April. The Scarlet and Gray went on to have a good season but not quite the year they hoped. Without Bosa, Ohio State finished 12-1, winning the Big Ten championship over Northwestern but failing to make the College Football Playoff due to the 29-point loss to Purdue.
