PASADENA, Calif. – Buckeye fans don’t read many articles about Kendall Sheffield. There’s a reason for that. The second-year Ohio State corner doesn’t enjoy talking with the media. In fact, he’s actively turned down interviews previously following bowl and championship games. At the Scarlet and Gray’s media day on Sunday at the Rose Bowl, Sheffield did his best to avoid speaking to media members again, entering the door on one side of the room and quickly going out the other. But eventually he settled at his table in between two teammates. When I went over to speak with him, he did in fact turn around. Once he got talking, Sheffield was conversational. The junior is quiet and doesn’t say much, but was willing to answer questions. After being a five-star recruit out of Missouri City, Texas, Sheffield originally committed to and enrolled at Alabama but redshirted and eventually elected transfer.…
