Ohio State men’s basketball drops a spot in latest AP Poll

The Ohio State Buckeyes men’s basketball team (12-1, 2-0) won their only game of the previous week 82-64 over the High Point Panthers, yet, when the latest AP Poll was released on Monday, they slid back a spot to No. 14. The Kentucky Wildcats (10-2) — who had been ranked No. 16 — beat the Louisville Cardinals (9-4) 71-58 last week, and that was apparently enough to move them ahead of the Buckeyes for 13th overall. The top five remained the same as last week with No. 1 Duke, No. 2 Michigan, No. 3 Tennessee, No. 4 Virginia, and No. 5 Kansas. In fact, the top 12 were the exact same as the previous week. In addition to OSU and Michigan, the Big Ten is also represented in the Top 25 by No. 8 Michigan State, No. 21 Indiana, No. 22 Wisconsin, No. 24 Nebraska, and No. 25 Iowa. Purdue…
