COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ryan Day had a plan in California. He wanted the interior of the Ohio State offensive line in 2019 to have senior Michael Jordan back at left guard, redshirt sophomore Josh Myers at center and redshirt sophomore Wyatt Davis at right guard. Friday, the Buckeyes lost the lynchpin of that plan. Jordan declared for the NFL Draft, meaning the Buckeyes will have four new starters on the offensive line in 2019. They already knew they were losing senior guards Malcolm Pridgeon and Demetrius Knox and senior right tackle and captain Isaiah Prince. Knox went down with a season-ending injury against Michigan, and Davis took over, letting the Buckeyes know he’s ready for that job in 2019.
