COLUMBUS, Ohio — Damon Arnette announced on Instagram that he will return to Ohio State for his senior season. Arnette — who came to Ohio State as a three-star prospect out of Florida — finished last season with 40 total tackles and one interception in the Big Ten Championship game against Northwestern. He returns to Ohio State despite being ranked as the sixth-best cornerback prospect in the 2019 NFL Draft by Bleacher Reports Matt Miller. He was expected to be a middle to late-round draft pick. Arnette joins Jordan Fuller as players in the secondary to decide to stay for their senior season and third defensive player overall to make that decision along with Malik Harrison.
