The Buckeyes currently have the country’s No. 14 recruiting class in the 247Sports Composite recruiting rankings. They have a few spots open still and are looking to add another offensive lineman, and cornerback at the top of the list. Ryan Day and his staff could perhaps move up a bit in the rankings with the right additions with early February’s National Signing Day just over three weeks away. At this point the Ohio State class of 15 signees and one commitment has a score of 257.35, according to the 247Sports’ class calculator. However, if one looks at the average star ranking of each prospect in the Buckeyes’ 2019 class, this class looks much stronger.
