Ohio State falls out of AP, Coaches Polls after three losses

A rough week for the Ohio State men’s basketball program ends with some tough news. When the AP and Coaches Polls were released on Monday morning, the Buckeyes had dropped out of both following three consecutive losses. Last week, after losing just their second game of the year, the Scarlet and Gray were ranked No. 16 in the AP Poll and No. 17 in the Coaches Poll. Ohio State is still receiving votes in the AP Poll (34). The 2018-19 season started off very positively for the Buckeyes. Despite not being ranked in either preseason poll, Ohio State climbed into both polls by Week 3 after a 4-0 start to the year that included road wins at Cincinnati and at Creighton.
