© Kirby Lee, USA TODAY Sports Urban Meyer led Ohio State to the Big Ten title and a win in the Rose Bowl this season.Former Ohio State Buckeyes head coach Urban Meyer, who announced his retirement from coaching in advance of his team’s Rose Bowl win against Washington earlier this month, is close to finalizing a deal to become Fox Sports’ “star college football analyst,” according to a report by Sporting News’ Michael McCarthy. Meyer “is being given the choice to work either as a color commentator in the game booth or as a studio analyst at Fox,” McCarthy added, citing sources.
