Credit: Casey Cascaldo | Photo Editor The Ohio State women’s basketball team (7-8, 3-3 Big Ten) overcame an 18-point deficit in the fourth quarter to win 76-71 in overtime against the Penn State Nittany Lions (9-8, 2-4 Big Ten). This victory marks the Buckeyes’ third consecutive conference win since losing five straight in late December and early January. Freshman guard Janai Crooms led the way for the Buckeyes. After scoring 10 or more points in her past three games, Crooms exploded on Thursday, scoring a career-high 27 points along with eight rebounds. The game was close throughout the first half.
