Ohio State basketball losing streak reaches four after 75-61 lost to Maryland

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State saw its longest losing streak under Chris Holtmann continue after it fell to Maryland, 75-61. It’s the second time the Buckeyes have lost at home to a team ranked in the Top 25. Despite turning the 19th ranked Terrapins over 19 times the Buckeyes couldn’t overcome Marylands efficient 58.7 percent shooting night combined with a lack of offense on their end. Ohio State shot just 39 percent from the field. Maryland led for the majority of the game but really began to pull away around the eight-minute mark where they proceed to hold Ohio State scoreless for the next 6:09. Unlike their last three games, however, not even Kaleb Wesson could find a rhythm tonight.
