Former Buckeyes Ebner, Simon head to the Super Bowl

Two Buckeyes are headed to the Super Bowl. On Sunday night, the New England Patriots defeated the Kansas City Chief XX-XX in the AFC  Championship Game. Among the winning Patriot players were former Ohio State Buckeyes defensive back Nate Ebner and defensive end John Simon. Ebner is in his seventh year in the NFL, all with the Patriots, after he was a sixth-round pick in the 2012 NFL Draft. Since he was selected, Ebnr has embraced his role as the leader of the special teams in New England, twice leading the team in special teams tackles. Over his career, Ebner has played in and won two Super Bowls. In 2017, Ebner missed the first two weeks of the season with a shoulder injury.
