Ohio State offensive lineman not expected to apply for 6th year

Many Ohio State fans have asked if offensive lineman Brady Taylor might apply for a sixth season of eligibility in 2019. However, a well-placed source informed Bucknuts that Taylor has likely decided to end his football career. The 6-foot-5, 295-pound Taylor, who was a fifth-year senior for the Buckeyes in 2018, was listed as Ohio State’s second-team center the last three seasons (2016-18). We are told that Taylor considered applying for a sixth year, but eventually determined it was likely time to move on due to ailing knees. Taylor is a native of Columbus, and was a Division VI first-team All-Ohio selection as a senior at Bishop Ready in 2013.
