Ohio State will look to snap a four-game losing streak by hosting Purdue Wednesday at Value City Arena (7 p.m., Big Ten Network). The Buckeyes have not won a game in 24 days, dating to a nonconference win over High Point on Dec. 29. OSU last had a four-game losing streak in January 2017, the final season for Thad Matta as the Buckeyes head coach. The last time OSU had a losing streak longer than four games was a 17-game skid in the 1997-98 season, which was coach Jim O’Brien’s first year on the job. On Thursday, OSU coach Chris Holtmann announced that sophomore forward Kyle Young figures to miss the next several weeks due to a stress fracture in his right leg.
