Scouting report and prediction for Michigan vs. Ohio State

ANN ARBOR — When January started, Ohio State was riding high, following up on its surprise season with another strong campaign. The Buckeyes hosted Michigan State on Jan. 5 in a top-15 matchup and led by seven points at halftime. They dropped that game, and the four after that. Along the way, they lost a key player to injury. The Buckeyes (13-6, 3-5) finally got their first win of 2019 on Saturday at Nebraska. They’ll step up in competition when they visit No. 5 Michigan on Tuesday (9:00, ESPN2). Coming off a 10-point road victory will give the visitors some confidence. They played a fair amount of zone against Nebraska and it resulted in a terrific defensive performance. Michigan faced zones earlier in the season, with mixed results, but have seen almost entirely man defense since December.
