Ohio State basketball can finally put lackluster month after loss to Michigan: Buckeye Take

COLUMBUS, Ohio — As expected Ohio State fell to Michigan 65-49 to close out the month of January. No one expected the Buckeyes to beat a top-five team in its own arena with the way they’ve played over the past month. The first half was close trailing by just six points, but the Wolverines took control in the second half led by Zavier Simpson who posted a triple-double. The Ohio native registered more assists than Ohio State’s entire team without committing a single turnover. He also added a chase down block on a Kaleb Wesson fast break dunk attempt. Meanwhile, the Buckeyes turned the ball over 19 times, shot 36.5 percent from the floor and score their lowest point total of the season.
