Football games are often won in the trenches, and that is a good sign for the 2019 Ohio State Buckeyes. At least on the defensive side of the ball.Ohio State has at least 12 quality defensive linemen that will be counted on this fall. Defensive line coach Larry Johnson has an embarrassment of riches, but also some tough decisions to make as far as personnel. Not necessarily with the starting spots — those seem pretty much etched in stone — but certainly in terms of which backups make the two-deep, and how much the backups rotate into the game. The Buckeyes are so deep on the defensive line that 5-star defensive end Zach Harrison is not projected in our top-12.
