The Alliance of American Football is a new professional football league that will begin play in early February. In its first year, the AAF will feature eight teams spread across the southern regions of the United States. While it’s hard to imagine many football fans going from watching the Super Bowl, which is the pinnacle of professional football, to an unproven league so quickly, there is now a reason for Buckeye fans to pay attention to AAF. Five reasons, actually. The AAF announced the complete rosters for all eight teams on Wednesday. Five former Ohio State players were named to various rosters across the league. Former Scarlet and Gray H-Back Jalin Marshall will play for the Orlando Apollos. Tight end Marcus Baugh will suit up for the San Diego Fleet.
