Four-star offensive lineman Doug Nester flips from Ohio State to Virginia Tech

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Doug Nester of Spring Valley High School (WV) committed to Ohio State in August of 2017. After spending almost 18 months as a future Buckeye, the four-star recruit has decided to flip to Virginia Tech as first reported by Grant Taylor of the Herald-Dispatch. Nester will make the decision official at 5 p.m. “Ohio State is always the best of the best and they continue to get great talent and great guys, but it’s a big city and I don’t know if I would fit in well there, ”Nester told the Herald-Dispatch. “Penn State is a great place – a small kind of town that is a city built around its campus.
