The 2018 Ohio State football team, including the now retired head coach Urban Meyer, receivers Austin Mack, Chris Olave and K.J. Hill, defensive end Chase Young, defensive tackle Robert Landers and punter Drue Chrisman, among others, were honored during the under-12 timeout of Thursday night at the Ohio State men’s basketball game against Penn State. The Buckeyes capped off a 13-1 season just over a month ago in which they defeated rivals Michigan 62-39 — the most points ever scored against the Wolverines in regulation — at Ohio Stadium as well as winning their second straight Big Ten Title with a 45-24 win over Northwestern at Lucas Oil Stadium and a Rose Bowl victory over Washington, 28-23 in Pasadena.Meyer announced he would retire from coaching on Dec. 4.
