Former Penn State commit and Georgia transfer quarterback Justin Fields will be able to play at Ohio State in 2019, the Buckeyes announced on Friday afternoon. The onetime Bulldog had submitted a transfer waiver application seeking immediate eligibility earlier this year, and the NCAA approved that request. He arrived in Columbus back in January and has been taking classes and participating in winter workouts ever since while waiting for a NCAA decision. Fields released a statement via Ohio State. It reads in part as follows: “Now that this matter is concluded, I would like to clarify some facts I have no regrets about my time at UGA and have no hard feelings for the school or football program.
