The Buckeyes have recruited the state of Indiana well over the past few seasons. Among the prospects they have landed out of Indiana have been wide receiver Terry McLaurin who was a starter last season and linebacker Pete Werner who started at times. Also, Austin Mack was a highly sought wide receiver the Buckeyes landed from the Hoosier State a few years ago. And for their 2019 recruiting class the Buckeyes signed athlete Craig Young out of Fort Wayne (Ind.) Wayne High School. Former Indiana head coach Kevin Wilson has recruited the state of Indiana for the Buckeyes and another Ohio State scholarship offer has been extended as Culver (Ind.) Culver Academy 2020 defensive end Deontae Craig has landed an Ohio State offer.
