On Wednesday the Buckeyes reached out to a top 2020 prospect in the prep talent rich state of Georgia to make a scholarship offer to offensive lineman Tate Ratledge from Rome (Ga.) Darlington. Ratledge posted the offer on his Twitter account on Wednesday afternoon. “Thankful to receive an offer from THE Ohio State University!,” Ratledge posted on his Twitter account. The 6-foot-6 and 306-pound Ratledge has a list of offers that in addition to Ohio State includes Georgia, Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee, South Carolina, Florida, LSU, Michigan and Virginia Tech. Ratledge is a 4-star prospect in the 247Sports Composite. He is the country’s No. 41 overall class of 2020 prospect, the No. 4 offensive tackle, and the No. 6 prospect in the talent rich state of Georgia.
