Day took the court at Ohio State’s home basketball game against Illinois on Thursday to introduce his coaching staff, one small step in the long journey until the Buckeyes take the field again in August. Day, who served as a protégé under former Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer, does have some experience as the head coach of the Buckeyes. With Meyer suspended for the first three games of the 2018 season, Day took hold of the team and led them to a perfect 3-0 record.
