Ohio State basketball needs a quality road win to help its tournament chances: Buckeye Analysis

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s NCAA tournament hopes are now in jeopardy after losing to Illinois at home. Now after two weeks of games against the bottom of the Big Ten conference the Buckeyes are entering possibly the toughest stretch of the season. Five of their final seven games are against teams ranked in the top 25 starting with a trip to East Lansing to play No. 11 Michigan State. The Spartans gave the Buckeyes their first Big Ten loss at the beginning of January jumping-starting a 1-6 month. Kaleb Wesson claimed after the first meeting that he felt that Ohio State was just as well as Michigan State and with a few improvements could have gone home victorious.
