RB Darvon Hubbard decommits from Ohio State

Running back Darvon Hubbard from Surprise (Ariz.) Willow Canyon has decommitted from Ohio State. Hubbard had committed to the Buckeyes during the summer after making two camp appearances at Ohio State. Hubbard’s decision is no surprise. The Buckeyes did not stop at his school during the winter evaluation period and Hubbard had announced that he would visit other schools. Hubbard had a junior season that was interrupted by injury and he did not put up the numbers that were hoped for. After the football season all signs pointed towards it just being a matter of time until both the Buckeyes and Hubbard went their separate ways. The Ohio State staff is very much in contention for some elite running backs across the country including another one from the state of Arizona, Bijan Robinson from Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic. Robinson is coveted by Ohio State and plans to visit the Buckeyes.…
