Baseball: Buckeyes lose another 1-run game to A&M-Corpus Christi

Entering the 2019 college baseball season, Ohio State was expected to have a good offensive attack, but had questions on the pitching side of the ledger.Through the first eight games, it has been the opposite for the most part. The Buckeyes’ pitching has certainly out-performed their hitting overall. That was the case once again Monday afternoon when Ohio State lost at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi 3-2 in a game where OSU collected only two hits. This came two days after A&M-Corpus Christi (5-4) beat the Buckeyes (5-3) 8-7 on a walkoff two-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning. On Monday, Ohio State got on the board first with a solo home run from true freshman third baseman Zach Dezenzo; the first HR of his collegiate career.
