COLUMBUS, Ohio — Ohio State’s NCAA Tournament ambitions were missing an impressive conference win to hang its hat on. That victory It finally got that win at home in a 90-70 victory over No. 22 Iowa. This is the Buckeyes’ first win over a ranked opponent this season. Ohio State made a game out of the first half leading by as much as seven points. Duane Washington Jr. provided a spark off the bench scoring all 10 points in the first half. Then two things allowed the game to turn in Iowa’s favors. The first was a technical foul called on head coach Chris Holtmann who’s was irate with the referees after two questionable foul calls on Kaleb Wesson.
