For seniors Grady Eifert and Ryan Cline, today was a success as Purdue defeated Ohio State 86-51 in Mackey Arena. Cline shot the ball efficiently on the day, but his highlight play came in the first half. He shot faked the ball from behind the 3-point line and drove into the paint, drawing the defense toward him. Cline then kicked the ball out to Eifert who swooshed the 3-pointer. That play sparked the offense early and broke the 4-4 tie Purdue faced with Ohio State at the time. Cline finished off his senior day with 8 points, five rebounds and four assists while Eifert finished his day with 8 points, five rebounds and an assist. As they checked out for the final time inside Mackey Arena, they were met with deafening cheers and “MVP” chants for Eifert. Head coach Matt Painter hugged each player as they walked off Keady Court…
