Ohio State, playing without leading scorer and rebounder Kaleb Wesson due to suspension, was no match for Purdue on Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind. Although, even with Wesson, it is highly unlikely that it would have mattered.The No. 14 Boilermakers (22-7, 15-3 Big Ten) destroyed the Buckeyes (18-11, 8-10) 86-51. Purdue was led by junior guard Carsen Edwards who scored 25 points, including 19 in the first half when the Boilermakers jumped on OSU and never looked back. True freshman center Jaedon LeDee received his first career start for the Buckeyes due to Wesson’s absence and was solid. The 6-foot-9 LeDee finished with a team-high 16 points, and added three rebounds, a block, a steal and an assist.
